Douglas was qualified in Hong Kong in 2012. Prior to founding Lee & Yik Lawyers, Douglas served at a prestigious commercial and maritime law firm for 7 years, having developed a broad based contentious and non-contentious practice. He serves a wide spectrum of clients, from local businesses, ocean carriers to multinational corporations and listed companies, Chinese and Asian enterprises to European companies.

Douglas handles a wide range of legal matters, including civil and criminal litigation and alternative dispute resolution, bankruptcy and insolvency, shipping, immigration, property and matrimonial matters. Douglas is also experienced in assisting clients in handling criminal investigations by public authorities, such as the Independent Commission Against Corruption and the Securities and Future Commission.

Douglas has abundant experience advising cross-border transactions, including large scale debt recovery action across multiple jurisdictions, and sale and purchase of ships or other shipping assets. He is also experienced in handling arbitration both at Hong Kong (HKIAC arbitration) and in Singapore (London Maritime Arbitration Association arbitration), as well as in giving evidence in aid of proceedings of courts at foreign jurisdictions, such as Thailand and New Zealand.

Douglas graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in history, and obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree while working in the news media.

Linda is a corporate finance lawyer qualified in 2008. Linda specialises in corporate and commercial law and advises on business set-up and restructuring, business sales and purchases as well as data privacy and corporate governance.

Linda served multinational companies, blue chip and red chip clients, and state-owned enterprises in corporate finance transactions during her time working as an associate at leading law firms in Hong Kong. Linda also became familiar with the legal needs of small and medium sized businesses and startups when she worked at Zegal (formerly known as Dragon Law), a legaltech startup established in Hong Kong.

Linda joined Lee & Yik Lawyers in 2019. In advising her clients, Linda draws on her extensive business experience, and balances legal and compliance perspectives with cost-efficiency and business needs.

Linda obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Hong Kong. Linda is also Co-founder and Director of sehji, a funding application institute; Director and School Manager of United Christian Music Kindergarten; Director of Fullness Social Enterprises Society; and Chairperson of Hong Kong Voices, a local chamber choir established since 2000.

Ryanne is a lawyer qualified to practise in Hong Kong and England and Wales. Before joining Lee & Yik Lawyers, she worked at a global law firm and specialised in the area of intellectual property (IP). During her practice, she has advised corporate clients on a diversified range of matters relating to copyright, trade marks, passing-off, software contracts, as well as commercial licensing and assignment of IP rights.

Ryanne is also a co-founder of ForeverGift.hk, a platform that focuses on promoting a legacy giving culture in Asia. Ryanne believes that by offering donors easy access to professional will drafting services, anyone can leave a legacy and create a lasting impact on causes closest to their hearts.

Before co-founding ForeverGift.hk, Ryanne was on the founding team that created Asia's first and fastest growing LegalTech business at Dragon Law, later known as Zegal.

Sebastian was qualified in 2020 and joined Lee & Yik Lawyers in the same year.

Sebastian has expertise at all levels of criminal defence work and solid experiences in dealing with a wide range of authorities on behalf of his clients, including the Hong Kong Police Force, Commercial Crime Bureau, the Department of Justice, the Immigration Department, the Independent Commission Against Corruption, the Securities and Future Commission and the Estate Agents Authority.

Prior to joining Lee & Yik Lawyers, Sebastian had worked at Legal Aid Department for more than 10 years. His exposure to public legal services equips him with an in-depth understanding of the regulatory perspective, as well as a sensitivity to the means and resources of his clients.

Sebastian maintains a close working relationship with a network of counsel with various expertise, which helps him make the best recommendation for his clients when such needs arise.
